Custom foam interiors are available for all cases and containers we sell.

Custom Fabricated Cases

Melmat Inc. offers a complete line of fabricated cases, which can be made to any desired size and for all applications. From light weight polyethylene to heavy duty ATA300 style containers (rated from a minimum of 100 trips via truck or plane). Cushion interiors and special features such as wheels and heavy duty materials are offered.

Each case is carefully crafted by skilled technicians to meet your specific requirements.
ATA - Metal Edged Fabricated Cases
Built to exceed Air Transport Association 300 Specifications for maximum protection and heavy duty transportation requirements. ATA cases are constructed of plywood and a choice of three laminates, available in colors. Included are recessed handle/latches and heavy duty steel corners. Casters are optional. Designed to withstand a long life of use and abuse.
Ultralite - Fabricated Cases
Construction is similar to ATA using non-recessed hardware. Designed to meet lighter requirements. Ultralite is recommended for surface travel and situations where less weight is desirable without foregoing protection.

We supply large cases for heavy-duty requirements.  Please page down to view some large custom-made ATA metal-edged fabricated cases we made available to our customers.  These cases are not carry-on size, rather these cases can contain objects weighing in excess of a hundreds of pounds.
